Patty O’Reilly is the artistic director of the Sonoma Conservatory of Dance and a message of hope for her work with the Restorative Justice Program. Patty’s tragic journey and remarkable recovery began when her husband was killed at the hands of a drunk driver. By arrangement with the state’s Victim-Offender Mediated Dialogue Program, Patty confronted her husband’s killer while he was in prison which paved the way for true healing for herself, her children and even the offending prisoner. Patty will tell her story during an interview with author Amanda McTigue. She is pictured here with her daughters, Erin and Siobhan.
