Cristina Zaccarini

Dr. Cristina Zaccarini is Professor of History and Co-Director of Asian Studies at Adelphi University. She was born in Italy, and raised in New York City. She has authored publications in the field of U.S.-China inter-cultural exchange, with a special interest in gender and healing in China and the United States.  Her most recent work is a chapter entitled “Connecting Histories of Gender, Health, and U.S.-China Relations” in Pamela S. Nadell and Kate Haullman (Ed.),  Making Women’s Histories: Beyond National Perspectives, New York University Press, January 2013.
