Ann Steiner

Ann Steiner, Ph.D., MFT, CGP, FAGPA served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California Medical School, San Francisco for over 14 years. She is a pioneer in working with individuals derailed by chronic physical illness. She is on the faculty of The Psychotherapy Institute and on the Board of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. She works with individuals, couples, and leads therapy groups focusing on life challenges, relationships and transitions. She is a nationally recognized professional speaker for consumers and mental health professionals. Currently she is completing her book, “The Rollercoaster of Chronic Illness: How to Add Joy to the Ride,” a guide for individuals, family, and friends whose lives are affected by chronic pain and illness.
